Works well for removing and installing valve keepers—makes the job much easier. Build quality is decent, though the fit could be a bit more precise on some engines. Still a solid tool for the price.

In addition to the tool truck brands, this spring compressor is built to the same high standards but does not cost hundreds of dollars. I have used it on all four cylinder heads that I have repaired at work. It functions as well as any other brand’s spring compressor. When you’re all done, there’s a nice carrying case to keep it all organized.This spring compressor is capable of removing the valve springs and preventing the keepers from flying off. Using this tool, I was able to service the entire intake and exhaust side without having to remove the keepers every time.

This set feels very sturdy and is well built! The magnetic connections are good and strong! This is a great addition to the other types of valve keeper removers I have, and will save time on removing the valves in the future. Great funcationality!
