This extender is a lifesaver if your shower head sits too low. It raises the height without any hassle and feels sturdy with its metal design. Installing it was straightforward, though make sure you’ve got enough ceiling clearance. It fits well and doesn’t leak, which is a big plus. Only minor downside is that the flange design might not match your current fixtures.

The people who built my house were apparently tiny as even at 5'5" I only barely fit under the shower heads. My 6' spouse is way too tall for them. We renovated our main bath to fix this issue, but the basement bathroom has a nice looking functional shower and tearing it out just to raise the shower head would be expensive and silly. I've used extenders on it before which work but they have locking knobs etc and just don't look nice, and sometimes they loosen and the shower head tips down. This extender is the best option I've seen by far, it is a huge upgrade to our old extender. It is affordable but looks fancy and nice, styled like a standard shower arm just taller. Installation was very easy, no need for a plumber. I used it to make our shower head high enough to be usable, but if you already have a functional height shower head you could use this to raise it for a rain shower head. The only thing you need to consider before ordering is if you have any built-in shelving or anything on the walls of your shower that will interfere with installing this. It needs to rotate around where the shower arm goes into the wall so if you have anything sticking out a lot and too close you won't be able to install it. Not a problem for me and probably won't be for most people.

Very solid shower arm for your shower head. I wanted to raise the shower head way above my head and this would have done the trick if i measured my space appropriately. This ended up being 1 inch a bit to tall so i could not completely screw it in. And being full metal bending it to fit my space was out of the question. One thing to note is the scussion flange that comes with this shower arm is not your standard one. Look closely at the pictures to see that it's very likely different from all the others ones in your house. That did not bother me since i was going to reuse the old one anyways.

This matte black S-shaped shower arm is exactly what I needed! I purchased it to replace a chrome shower arm as part of my bathroom update to a matte black aesthetic, and it fits in perfectly with the new look. There’s not much to say beyond the fact that it performs as expected. It screwed into the existing pipe easily, and there are no leaks, which is always a relief when installing plumbing fixtures. If you’re in the market for a reliable, stylish shower arm, this is a solid choice. It’s functional, easy to install, and complements a modern bathroom design perfectly. Highly recommend!

The specs are right on with this extender allowing you to raise the height of your shower head without changing the location of the shower water flow. Easy to install, very nicely made. You'll be happy with this purchase.

I remodeled a 40yr old bathroom. With a short shower head pipe. This was great to get the showerhead up to a good height for me.
