Lacks in quality. Bought because the battery I was using seems to been draining power so I bought this new one and I don't think it holds a charge longer than the original I has.

My original battery was worn down to the point that it wouldn't last very long, so I thought I'd give this on a try. So far it is working very well and is lasting almost as long as the original one was when it was new. It seems a little expensive (about $23 at the time of this review) but you don't have a lot of choices for this piece of equipment. Although the Montana 650 has the option of using 3 AA batteries in it's place, so I may try some rechargeable AA's.
