the recirculating pump did not come with a sensor, so I ordered this sensor.I have instant hot water, but the cold water line is also hot. The valve is supposed to close at 96 degrees

I installed this replacement sensor valve at one of the furthest bathroom sinks in combination with a Hot Water Recirculating Pump on the automatic setting. Now, we no longer waste five minutes of water waiting for hot water to reach the second floor from the basement—it’s instantly available. Installation was simple, though you will need two additional 1/2" x 1/2" FIP flexible faucet supply lines to complete the connection under the sink. The only minor drawback is that the cold water initially runs warm but cools down within a few seconds. Despite that, this valve is a must-have addition to any hot water system, making daily routines more convenient while reducing water waste. The build quality is solid, and it works exactly as expected. If you’re looking to improve your hot water recirculation system, this valve is an excellent investment. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with long hot water wait times!

Didn’t work. Leaked too much hot water to the cold side. Had to reorder the premium model from Grunfos

Ordered this valve to use with my new hot water recirculating pump. I installed a hot water recirculating pump to keep the water warm in my house and this valve is required to keep water moving. This valve was very easy to install and went under my kitchen sink easily. I did have to purchase two short water lines but kept the original waterlines for the top mounts. This valve has yet to leak and I was able to install this device myself without any assistance. This valve does its job and keeps the water flowing when it gets below a certain temp.Overall, a must have device if you install a water recirculating system.

Unit has the same form, fit, and function of the OEM equipment at significantly less cost. Prior to installation, the valve was tested using hot water from a tea kettle and found the valve to be closing at the appropriate temperature. Will see how it works over time.

I picked up the **367010 Replacement Sensor Valve** as a backup for my home plumbing. It's always a good idea to have a few essential parts on hand, especially for something like an instant hot water circulation system. The valve is well-built, though not overly impressive, but it works as it should. Installation was simple, and since adding it, my system has been running just fine. It gives me confidence knowing I have it around in case of emergencies. All in all, it's a reliable option that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a replacement valve for their system.

I installed this for a hot water recirc in my house. Seems to be working well. I wouldn't put this anywhere it can freeze unless you flow hot water the whole time. But it seems to be decent quality.

This is the hottest f-ing apparatus for plumbing I’ve installed yet! Tired of waiting on hot water to the furthest sink? I was. For 30 yrs every house I’ve ever lived….in the winter…..standing around waiting on the hot water to wash my hands. Sometimes I’m waiting around 4 mins.! I know that seems exaggerated and it very well could be but dang it’s too long. Not to mention the wasted water while waiting! Thats a lot of water and w’s! It adds up. I installed a circulating pump as well and didn’t need to. This valve keeps hot water primed at every faucet in the house! And that isn’t an exaggeration! Showers, 2 vanities, kitchen, mop sink! This one valve installed under my kitchen sink provides instantaneous hot water at every hot water outlet! No b.s.! The pump I installed has a regular 110vac male plug for its power and I unplugged it to see what kind of delta p…..and left it unplugged. Days, weeks later instantaneous hot water er where! Bump the pump!
