I bought this because I wanted to stamp keys in order to keep track of them. As I used it I realized I should have bought the kind that you use a hammer with. The spring loaded device isn't strong enough to really get the job done well.

It came on time and does work as advertised. It would be nice if the spring loaded part of the punch worked better. (I have been unable to get it to work as a consistent depth gauge... and it does require a support to make the punch vertical - so the letter/number is equally depressed all around.) But overall a decent working gauge with all parts.
