Step 1:Install new o-ring.
Step 2:Place retaining ring into install tool recess.
Step 3:Insert anvil into retaining ring at a 45°.
Step 4:Push and bring the anvil perpendicular.
Specifically designed to fit type 3/8" cordless impact wrench.
Does not fit DeWalt or other cordless tools.

These are cheap, and don't work with Milwaukee impacts. If your lucky enough to get one to attach. You get to swap sockets about three times if your lucky, after that there is no difference with these snap rings or no snap ring the socket will literally fall right off

Goes on no problem but doesn't retain sockets like the factory clip, sometimes have to force the socket on and it ended up coming off again shortly after

They didn’t work for my Milwaukee tools, installer tool worked great but fitment was poor and didn’t hold up to retain impact sockets as stated they would!
