The title says 3/8 inch. I thought that that was referring to the shank size of the holder. Neither the title, nor the description mention the size of the shank of the holder.Well, that is not quite true, as I know now after receiving the item. The title does list 1pc SRAPR1616H10 at the end. That may be fine if you catch that, and know what the 1616 part of that part number means.Unlike some other sellers with better descriptions, this vendor has no dimensioned diagram or detailed description stating to showing that the shank is 16mm. I needed a radius tool with a shank of 8-10mm for an Enco Unimat 3 lathe I have owned for close to 50 years. This shank is too large for any of my tool posts, a generally annoying problem when looking for cutters.I am giving 2 stars for the poor description that can lead to confusion. I am also noting that tools for 10mm round carbide inserts are, at best, uncommon. Given the price of $16.49, I considered keeping the set for the inserts. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any metal cutting holders for the 10mm inserts to fit my tool posts. Most other holders use 6mm round bits anyway. They can't be used with wood turning holders as those are 8.9 or 12mm. They won't fit. I checked, as I have a woodworking lathe. If you need 10mm round carbide inserts, this could be a good deal just for the bits. However, this kit only comes with one set screw. Most kits at least come with one or two spares.
