I bought this to make up some wiring harnesses (wire-to-wire) as shown in some of the pictures. Unfortunately this kit is really set up as wires-to-circuit board.Trying to go wire-to-wire means you have the circuit board header between two wire connectors. One connector snaps into the header and the other just slides onto the pins that are meant to be soldered to a circuit board, completely unsecured. See the picture.I'll be looking for another kit and possibly returning this one.

A must have for a starter elec. lab. Make sure to get decent crimpers as well, and if your old get some super duper industrial strength readers cause... well, these are mighty small to be double crimping if you ain't rocking 20/20.
