Nicely built, quality product, does what it does well, cleans up nicely.. Probably does more things, I'll find out soon.

This is perfect for melting the half pound size of baker's cacao on a one quart saucepan over a stove. Easy clean up. The best way to remove chocolate is put it in the freezer first. This is sturdy enough (it is small and light but not "foil" and dishwasher safe. There is no spray on coating that can flake off, its very scratch resistant. This is a great insert to have in your culinary arsenal. I like its nice, airy design. Good job.

Pretty sure I saw someone else leave a bad review of this product because it was too small, then freely admit it was their own error for not checking the dimensions, who does that. I, on the other hand, checked the dimensions, decided I was too lazy to get a ruler or something to visualize how big that is and said to myself, pchht, I know how big that is. Spoiler: I did not know how big that is, it's a rather small item. But! It is quite nice, I fir a half dozen egg yolks and a half cup of sugar in it today after I didn't think it would all fit. I did end up having to whisk with chopsticks because I don't have a coated whisk that small, so, just plan ahead. Looks like it would be great for melting chocolate. Easy to clean. I don't know what the coating is exactly so I didn't use anything metal just in case.

Oh my! Finally a melting pot that actually melts chocolate the way it should! I purchased this for Valentine’s Day! We made the most delicious chocolate covered Strawberries, I think the best I’ve ever laid my lips on! I highly recommend this double bowler chocolate melting pot to all!

Very well made and easy to use with pouring spouts on both sides. Smaller than I expected, about 4 1/8" across and 2 1/4" deep, (my fault for not paying attention to the description as it was written) but I sure seem to have used it a lot. Very sturdy and cleanup is easy.
