This striker bolt took one look at my 1999 K2500 crew cab and said, “Nah.” Didn't fit the front. Didn’t fit the back. Might fit a time-traveling Pontiac from the '80s, but definitely not my truck. It’s got a long compatibility list, but apparently my rig didn’t RSVP. Total swing and a miss.

I used these on a 1981 Pontiac Firebird. First off, I think I have some more work to do on alignment of the doors and door pins and bushings. It had a completely worn out door striker on the drivers side that appeared to be a different style. The one with an integrated aluminum bushing. So may try another style although the listing says this is correct. I wish I could see another similar firebird to confirm one way or the other. Anyway, I feel like I'm sharing my inner dialog which has nothing to do necessarily with the item.Overall very pleased with the look and fit. Having the tool included was nice too.

The thread pitch is different from OEM. It will not screw into the backing plate. Also, this washer is flat and rests on threads when fully seated. The OEM washer is cone shaped which provides a level of spring tension to the fasteners.1991 Chevrolet C3500, GMT400.
