Been using the kayak for about 5 times on a lake and everything seems fine .On my sixth time ,came back to the lake shore the kayak was drying in the sun 85fAfter two hours it exploded in two places at once ! I must say I did and always inflated the kayak as recommended by the manufacturer! It exploded at the seams which supposed to be very strong !As of minimal use and care I don't recommend this kayak ...just think it might explode in the middle of a lake with all the fishing gear ....My kayak is out of warranty but still for just minimal use I don't think it's worth this price an quality of this product!

Just used it for the first time on our local lagoon. Nice kayak. Blow up is easy. Take down too. In the back you will get back. From paddling. My son on front seat stayed dry. Note, you want wheels to move it. It’s heavy to carry on the case. The back back straps could be better. Once it’s out of the box it does not collapse as small again. Fits easily into large SUV

Only used it a few times so far, but so far so good! I've used it mostly on flat water, but in an area heavily trafficked by boats. Feels stable, moves good up and down river, and with the skeg in the Kayak stays mostly straight when paddling. Feels durable, the floor is ridged enough where you can stand up (that takes some getting used to) and you forget after awhile you're in something that's inflatable. Most importantly, it's convenient. I live in a condo and drive a sedan, so a hard plastic kayak would've been impossible. Broken down it fits snuggly in the (cluttered) trunk of my car.The one thing I'd caution, though, is that as far as it being an "angler" kayak I'm not sure how much the additional features justifies the price point. I think it's fine, but if you're not planning on fishing often I'd say look at the non-angler models first. Some cons?Took all of one week for me to lose one of the valve covers (the one for the keel). There is also a ring for attachments right under the handle, so if you're carrying the kayak on one shoulder it will dig into your hand. The pump is annoying to use (especially for someone who is 6'2"), and when I first got it the hose had trouble slotting into the valve. No complaints other than those. Would recommend.

i am an avid fisherman and wanted to upgrade from my seyvlor colorado inflatable so i bought the 385 fta... ive been fishing out of this boat for the past 3 months and have been very pleased with its durability and tracking ability. this boat really cuts through the water quickly and is easy to maneuver effortlessly. when my wife and i take the boat out we only take one paddle and can navigate with ease ...i like the multiple seat arrangements possible with this boat and have found recently the best setup for my wife and i is to set the seats up facing each other at opposite ends of the boat while i fish and she reads and meditates... while the seats have great support there is a little more to be desired from the padding.. for that reason i bought the inflatable sea eagle seats thinking they would be more comfortable however that was not the case. i am still going to spring for the swivel seat at some point though.... the stability is very nice and i like that i can stand up and fish which helps alleviate any discomfort one might get from sitting in one position for hours. the rod holder design is not the best, i always feel nervous they will fall out but some modifications can be made to secure them better.. sea eagle has done it again with a quality boat that i would highly recommend to anyone in the market for an inflatable fishing kayak

Very excited to have received this. Haven’t gotten out on the water yet. Set up was easy. We do have a programable pump. Inflation was not difficult. Will update after a day on the water.

We bought this kayak for our kids and family to use. This Kayak is so well made it’s crazy. It’s easy to unpack and repack. My 20 year old son can easily carry it as a back pack no problem, and two older people can easily carry this boat, 22.5 pounds each using the provided bag handles, ( one on each side) . My son uses a foldable wagon to wheel it to the bank for long treks. This is not a junky raft and is a high quality item. Straight unreal craftsmanship( very overbuilt). The boat in the bag is more awkward than heavy, and if your older you could separate the floor from the boat into two separate bag making it even lighter. . However, it’s not heavy at all with two people or a wagon or the combination of the two. Don’t hesitate to buy this item is great.

Having just purchased the 385FTA, I have only had the opportunity to use it twice. Once in the intercoastal and once in the in the open ocean. I was impressed with how it handled in both conditions. The boat is easy to inflate and truly feels high quality. It tracks well, and felt very stable. My wife swore she wouldn't get in an inflatable but after seeing it in person she felt safe and secure. If I had a complaint it would be in the bag that it came in. It's trash. The nylon is very thin and has already torn. I purchased nylon patches to repair. Also, the ability to fold the kayak, paddles, and seats back into the carry bag takes a degree of origami that I'm not capable of.I am a fit 5' 10 190# but find carrying the bag and boat to be a chore. The thin straps amplify the weight on your shoulders. It is much heavier than I imagined. Attention females: My wife could not lift the boat off the floor but some of that is probably due to the awkwardness of the bag itself.Overall I am happy and hope to get more use out it soon in our local river.I will probably purchase one of the upgraded bags sea eagle offers too.
