This 5/8-inch keyless drill chuck comes with two arbors: MT1 and MT2. Both arbors are drilled for use with a bore bar and are threaded to fit easy to obtain treaded rod. They are also fitted with the JT322-MT2 taper required by the chuck. The chuck is designed to be used with a wood lathe where the use of a bore bar is necessary to keep the chuck in place.The concentricity of the drill chuck is hobby grade and suitable for wood working. It can also be mounted in a drill press without the bore bar.

This 5/8" keyless drill chuck comes in a rectangular expanding plastic case for both protection and storage. It came oiled on the outside that shows an extra level to the care in this finely machined heavy-duty chuck. It loosens and tightens well. It came with both a MT1 and MT2 taper arbors with each in their own protective cases. My lathe uses a MT2 and with that on the chuck, it rotated smoothly, and I did not experience any wobble. I like the extra capacity that the 5/8" gives me over a 1/2" chuck. I am very pleased with the quality and performance of this keyless chuck and would recommend it.
