This is a well built solid double grove pulley. I used two of these double pulleys in my home built electric generator comprised of a Harbor Freight 14HP motor and Harbor Freight 10KWatt generator head both with 1" drive shafts. The pulleys have worked perfectly. I had previous used other pulleys constructed of welded or pressed fit components available at popular hardware stores, but these welded or pressed fit pulleys did not have tight durable tolerances and the these welded or pressed fit pulleys eventually lead to wobbly operations after some use and all had to be replaced. This double pulley is the best that I have used in some ten years.
