I bought this lightbulbs for my tiguan and they work great except the car doesn't recognize them and i still have the license plate light in my dashboard.

I just received mine and while they're a nice green color and they seem bright (and all 4 worked)... they're *NOT* 39mm.I was replacing some 39mm bulbs so I ordered these thinking they'd fit fine, but surprise, they didn't quite fit. I had to squeeze the metal prongs of the socket together to make it grip tighter since there wasn't as much metal-to-metal contact.After coming back in from installing these in my truck, scratching my head about what the problem was, I pulled out my tape measure and confirmed the old bulbs were in fact 39mm but these new ones are actually 37mm.2mm may not seem a lot but when you also consider these are tapered at the ends, not solid like my old bulbs, that meant even less making contact with the prongs of the socket.In the end I made it work... I'm not totally sure it'll hold up to bouncing along the road. Will these bulbs pop out of the socket because of a weak connection? Time will tell.So, if you need 39mm bulbs, consider what would happen if that bulbs you got were, oh, 2-6 mm shorter. Maybe consider bumping up to the 41mm bulbs instead? If I do have problems with these, that's my plan, but I'm hoping these can remain in place.

Bought the 2 pack only one worked, however i emailed the company and the sent me a replacement very fast.
