I'm not sure how others say that the quality of this spine model is inferior to others, but I recognize the quality and durability as these are the same ones that we use in the physical therapy program I'm currently attending. This spine is an excellent learning tool for anatomy and biomechanics of the spine. I also don't understand why others complain about the lack of stand/mount as it says nowhere in the description that one is included.

I bought this spine 9 mo ago and didn't even use it for 3 of those. It was a good model until It broke in half yesterday. Up until that point I was very happy with it. It served its purpose and functioned well. I admit I am pretty tough on spines and use it several times a day to illustrate abnormal curvatures and spinal movements but I had hoped it would at least last a couple years.. it didn't.

Great price on the spine through Amazon. My chiropractic bookstore couldn't even come close to matching it. The SI joint is not very movable, but maybe some adjustments can be made to loosen it up. This is a great replica to have to study, practice, and explain to others. A replica spine is a must buy for anyone in the medical field that deals with this area of the body. Very pleased!

not nearly as sturdy as the one I bought in chiropractic school 25 years ago (that finally gave up a few little bits about a year ago.) This one lost integrity of the occiput/atlas parts in the first week. Sigh. Guess they just don't make things like they used to...

The product was as described an anatomical model of intermediate quality; the details are Ok but not so sharp and most of the laminae borders will require trimming with a kerrison...it can be fixed easily.Delivered two days earlier; the shipping box showed signs of rough handling and the spine was dislocated in several places but it was easy to reduce; the central elastic rode holding the spine together seems to be sturdy enough.

I ordered this an might as well have ordered the cheaper on cause this one is very cheap and missing transverse processes and pedicles on some of the vertebrae. worth about $50 max.

This is a fabulous spine model. I ordered a smaller one originally but this is far superiorin that it is more flexible, more durable, and more importantly better for clients to seemovement in order to integrate ideas in to their own bodies.I put a heavy duty steel bolt in the wall with an eye (circular head) and then attached asmall carabiniere the the metal loop at the top of the skeleton. It hangs easily on thewall. I just need to unhook the carabiniere to take it off the bolt. Easy and available. It only took me 10 years to finally buy one. Glad I did.
