Got tired of trimming by hand. Took too long and my hands cramped. Thus thing cut my time in half. I hold it like a gun. I dobt know how well It works for dry trimming but it's great for wet trimming. Trimmed 4 pounds without a problem. Let my neighbor use it and he bought one too.

Very useful. I like to use the largest blade. The blade is very sharp. Be careful when you use it for the first time because it can cut your hands.

I bought this 2 years ago and never got to use it until last night. After I trimmed by hand and scissors for 3 days I remembered I had this.... So I pulled it out and set some alcohol cleaning supplies out to keep blades clean and I started. I love these clippers. They work wonderful and they cut time by 65 -75% and does a beautiful job manicuring. You cant even mess up and lop buds in half it just wont. It just hovers over the nugs and chews the excess leaf up and gone very quickly to increase production massively. I will NEVER trim by scissors again ever! I paid 154 2 years ago when I bought it and now it is $94. A must have for every grower. Highly highly recommend!!!!!!

Was really excited to revive this considering the hours I’ve spent hand trimming, says you’re able to wet or dry trim and gives you different blades for wet and dry trimming. I’ll be honest, I’ll go over the stem of a wet leave and it sometimes doesn’t cut it at all, takes sitting over it for a minute to cut it and shakes the hell out of the bud when doing so, I supposed I thought it would be sharper, cut with more ease maybe. I’m hoping it’ll be better after it’s completely dry but I’m disappointed in the way it performed for the wet trim. I will update again after I try it dry but If it’s not any better dry I will likely return itUpdate: so my first unit had an issue where it was separating from the seam, while trimming it would vibrate the panel that holds the blade in, then the whole motor cover would separate, I talked to the company and they sent me a new one! So I’m changing this to 5 stars because of customer service. Disclaimer it will give you a finished look without the use of scissors if your bud is 100% completely dry and a little crunchy, if there is at all any wetness, or you are trying to wet trim with these I wouldn’t purchase them for that even know they are labeled as wet/dry trimmers. They work great when your product is completely dry and save a lot of time, but again for wet trimming I wouldn’t reccomend. Thanks trim daddy awesome customer service!

Wire from the control to the snipps has a wire very lite gauge and is weak and breaks easily. The fitting was too short so the wire easily does a 90 at the junction with the control fails . The control failed on both of mine. Given a reliable powersupply, this was my favorite for removal of sun leafs to maximize quality of the trim as a base for secondary produts. So a precise trim with a lot of area to cover. Trim Daddy is light weight and mechanically sound. With a stong and reliabe drive, it covers more area for the cut. Accidental bites of the stem will not stall it. It has a wider mouth than others tested. Thats about double the efficiency.As a foot note, the vendor is sending two power supplies at no charge. *** I rarely write a review but have to share with my people!!! I heard about the trimmers from my town grow store where they rent them out but they were all rented out at the time and I ended up on Amazon late night and ordered prime and they were on my doorstep in less then 48 hours .. even though the reviews were mediocre, the store said they were better then the trim bag especially with my bad back as I couldn't shake that HUGE trim bag for 30 minutes standing up straight. After using the trimmers I was surprised how much I was able to really get done and also how easy they are to use! Even comes with different size blades to switch out. I was like a team of speedy Gonzaleses but with smooth results not choppy at all (my only real fear) and the blades don't need cleaning, even after using for hours! You can tell the blades are high quality and trimmers are well made, they actually made trimming fun!!! My girlfriend said it was the best late night Amazon purchase I have made in years!!!

Never before in my life have I paid so much for something so cheap. I expected for over $300 I would get a high quality machine, no issues, and excellent craftsmanship.Instead I got plastic junk, extremely rudimentary design not even worth $50. I bought three of these machines to start off with and within 10 minutes of use the power cables or connectors started going bad and the machine would shut off if you didn't hold it at JUST rather right angle. Then after a few more minutes it would just not work at all, glitching on and off. Frustration doesn't even describe the feeling.DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP! SAVE YOURSELF THE AGGRAVATION!

great product and makes all your fall harvesting much faster, however, being tethered to a power cord changes the dynamics of trimming so it may take a few tries getting used to, soooo worth the money! Clean often and go on YouTube to watch instructional videos.
