First, there are a ton of extra screws, but all but two are of the rounded top sort. The instructions, to the best I can understand them, have you installing four of the flat type. Only two were included so I used only the rounded ones throughout. I don't know if that will kill the unit because I haven't gotten to the point of turning it on yet. That's because...Second, this is pictured looking like a tabletop unit, with the 3D image of a man standing atop it. Well, guess what? This thing has to be hung up on a wall. It has mounting hardware at the bottom of the base so it doesn't even sit on a table in a balanced fashion. I guess when I get around to hiring a handyman to drill holes in my wall I will continue with setup and testing of this otherwise seemingly cool device. As it is, I'd say that's a fatal flaw and I'm quite sorry I ordered it.ADDITIONAL UPDATE: When you do go to mount this on your wall, an eyesore that will leave a permanent mark, it was designed such that the power jack must be at the top of the unit, so the cord juts up from behind the top of the unit instead of hanging from the bottom. That is both aesthetically worse and functionally limiting because it reduces the distance you have to a wall outlet by several inches of cord length.

This is a very disappointing and overpriced product. Here is a list of the problems with it:-It is not a hologram, or in any way 3D. The pictures show images popping out of it, it doesn't do that. It has LEDs that spin and created a sort of picture/video. It IS cool looking, but it's not a hologram or anything like it. It's closer to a round screen. Also, it lists the resolution as 1600x1200.... um, it's a circle. It can't have a different resolution one way compared to the other. Also, I can see the individual LEDs on the arms. there are nowhere near even 1200. I'm not going to count them, but it has maybe a hundred or two hundred at most.-Pictures show it sitting horizontally but you can't use it that way. If you set it on a table and turn it on, it moves itself around violently. I tested it by holding it in my hand, but to really use it, it need to be wall mounted (I suppose you could mount it to a horizontal surface, but I can't imagine anyone doing that).-I used the QR code to get the Android App and it isn't from the Google Play store. My phone warns me that it may be dangerous. The only time you should ever install an app that hasn't been vetted in the Play Store is if you absolutely trust the company, as it could easy infect your phone or steal information. I'm not willing to take that risk with a company that is apparently called "missyou 3Dhologramfan". That's seriously their name. They have a little brochure with a couple of stock photos of the outside of a company and the lobby with that name badly photoshopped like it was a sign (I attached photos). The company name on Amazon says it is "Wanther" and in the product description, it shows a guy smoking a cigar talks about the timeless elegance with modern sophistication of their cigar cases. They say there is an iphone app, I don't have an iphone, so I can't speak to that.-There is supposedly also a computer program. The link in the manual is an invalid URL. Also, the instructions for that program say to disable your firewall and antivirus to use it, so even if I could actually download it, that would be a hard pass, just like their app that hasn't gone through Android's security checks.-The website for their tutorials on how to put it together does work. That has a link for the "700 videos for free".... it opens a Whatsapp chat.So now I have a spinning light thing that I have to mount to a wall with screws and then I can display the 10 or so demo images that have loaded on it (mostly xmas stuff). I can't load anything new on to it or really change the image, other than to cycle through what is preloaded.This is really a shame, because if they actually had a functioning app that wasn't such a huge security risk or some other way to load images, and if they didn't claim that this produces holograms when it doesn't, it would actually be kind of cool. The spinning image is bright and clear. It just needs like a USB port or something to be able to load files or something. And maybe a web based interface so it isn't asking you to install something.

Grabbed this for the kids little gaming area. First, straight out of the box with the little preloaded gimmicks, it looks awesome. It is a little bright so be sure to dim it down a little bit and the effect is even better. Its quite easy to install although with our unit, the power cord ended up being on top, so when you wall mount it, the cord is awkwardly up at the top and has to hang down. This is tough to deal with because it does have a little power brick in the middle of the cord too. It sounds like a small fan running, which after a few minutes becomes background white noise. The app, is awful. It asks for a ton of permissions it doesn't need. The interface is not the easiest to use either. I got it to do a custom text once, and then it was gone and I couldn't find it again. You also can't really load up any animation you want, or at least the instructions don't tell you how to do so. The final drawback is that after about 15 minutes of use, the unit itself is HOT. That is a little bothersome so I'll limit the time it runs to about 10 minutes over all. Cool effect, cool device, runs hot and the app is awful. I'll leave it at that.

This thing is so cool and the picture quality is outstanding. It works so well and is rather easy to setup. It plays videos which is so entertaining. Now my whole family is hooked making it such a great purchase and such a great value.
