My son used this to make a butter lamb for the Pascha feast after Lent. It worked as we needed it to.

This is a very cheap product. You have to cut the pieces out of the plastic and paper clip them together. There isn’t enough space around the pieces once cut out to clip together & it does not stay together tight enough to prevent the liquid from running out. Spend money on a metal mold that snaps together.

Was disappointed it was all in one piece. Will have to cut it apart to try to use it. Also was not expecting to pay for return expense.

Perfect for making lamb-shaped butter. You have to cut the thick plastic between the front and rear molds, though, which isn't easy to do. After separating them there really isn't enough of a plastic lip around the molds on which to use binder clips to hold the pieces together...but it did the job forming a detailed lamb.

I answered someone’s question incorrectly. They asked how much butter does this take to make. The correct answer is a room temperature stick of butter for each side of the mold, so two sticks of butter. Set aside a little bit of the softened butter to use as glue to hold the two sides together. I used peppercorns for the eyes and mouth
