My daughter has autism and ADHD and she LOVES things like running, jumping, and anything else active. Mini trampolines are PHENOMENAL for all kinds of things that aren’t limited to ASD and ADHD, but that are a significant part of meeting their special needs. Here are some blurbs from elsewhere:“Yes, jumping on a trampoline provides proprioceptive input. Proprioception is the sense of where our body is in space, and the movement and pressure from jumping on a trampoline activate the sensory receptors in muscles and joints that are responsible for proprioception. Here's why a trampoline is a good source of proprioceptive input:Rhythmic bouncing and landing:The repetitive nature of jumping and landing provides a constant stream of proprioceptive feedback.Deep pressure and body awareness:The pressure from bouncing and landing on the trampoline mat can also contribute to deep pressure input, which further enhances body awareness.Balance and coordination:Jumping on a trampoline requires balance and coordination, which further engage the proprioceptive system.Sensory regulation:The rhythmic movement and sensory input can be beneficial for individuals who seek more sensory input or have difficulty regulating their sensory systems. “(This next bit is from an article on ASD and trampoline parks but it’s still very relevant)“Sensory Stimulation and RegulationChildren on the autism spectrum frequently encounter difficulties with sensory processing, which can manifest as either hypersensitivity (being overwhelmed by sensory input) or hyposensitivity (seeking out additional sensory stimulation). Trampoline parks present a unique environment where these sensory needs can be met in a controlled and enjoyable way.Proprioceptive InputThe act of jumping on a trampoline provides significant proprioceptive input, which is the sense of where our body is in space. This can be particularly beneficial for children with autism who may struggle with body awareness or coordination. The rhythmic bouncing and landing can help them regulate their nervous systems and improve their sense of balance.Vestibular StimulationThe up-and-down motion of jumping also engages the vestibular system, which is responsible for our sense of movement and equilibrium. This can be calming for children who are oversensitive to vestibular input, or it can provide the necessary stimulation for those who are under-sensitive.Visual and Auditory ExperienceWhile the physical sensations of jumping are crucial, the visual and auditory environment of a trampoline park can also play a positive role. The bright colors, flashing lights, and energetic music can provide a level of stimulation that is engaging and exciting for many children with autism. It’s important to note that some children may be sensitive to loud noises or bright lights, so it’s always a good idea to check with the park about quieter times or areas.“All THAT said my daughter is pretty trampoline obsessed to the extent that we have a membership at one of our local trampoline parks and did goes there several times a week. We had a mini trampoline I found on a curb alert years ago but it stayed outside for years at my ex roommate’s place and she still goes there frequently and jumps on the thing even though it’s full of little holes now. She calls me several times a day when she’d there jumping on that thing.Sooo, I started thinking we need one for home but we live in a small, two bedroom apartment and as soon as I thought about needing one I thought “I wonder if they have ones that collapse and fold up” so we cooked actually fit one here. No sooner did I think I that I searched in Vine and lo and behold there this colorful and collapsible little gem was. WOW! So awesome! I immediately thanked my lucky stars and pounced on it.Th Ed only real assembly for this is attaching the cover which is easy. It was slightly difficult to figure out how to get it popped open. You have to lay the one end flat and basically use your foot and weight to move the other side out and all the way down. The legs are SUPER SIMPLE and are simply on elastic bands that allow you to pull them in and out of the rest of the legs. Even my daughter can do that bit. It’s super sturdy when put together and I imagine it’s more self leveling. We can’t use the handle. It’s too short for my 6 (almost 7) years old and she’s in the lower percentage for height in her age rate at 42”. At that age, most kids won’t need it.My daughter homeschool’s and it’s been wonderful having this for her to jump on outside as it’s great for energy, stiffness, ego and wiggles release, fitness, resetting and grounding, clearing her head, etc. The colors are also cheerful. She also likes putting it up against the brick wall outside and running and jumping off it in vertical mode and bouncing other things off it. She’s truly happy playing with this. I think it’s probably her favorite toy now aside from her doll. I’m going to have to try it out myself.I absolutely recommend this and I’m truly grateful to have it.

This trampoline was the perfect size for a one yr old. The weight limit says 150lbs. Not much to assemble. Straight out of the box it is folded in four pieces. May need a second person to hold down one side to fully fold hinge straight. Legs are on an elastic bungee that pop in place. Some may not like that they don't lock into place, but I never had an issue of them falling out or off. The handle is three pieces with bolts to attach to legs. The trampoline is made of strong material and a thick layered cover for safety. The kids had fun jumping. Points for being able to fold and put back in box when not in use or for transport.

Most toys end up in the basement, closet, or under the bed after a day or so. This one is (so far) providing fun and exercise for my neice. The trampoline was packaged carefully and was a snap to put together. The handle is sturdy and a good height for most children that should be using the trampoline. While my neice is as light as a feather it seems the trampoline is designed for the right age and weight limits and even when she gets a bit out of control the trampoline doesn't shift or move. This is a great idea for those with a home gym to help inspire kids to work out plus it looks like a lot of fun!

This is a nice trampoline for kids. I'm rating it at a 4 stars for toddlers up to 3 years old. From 4-6, I'd say maybe a 3-3.5, and I don't think older, heavier kids should use it at all. The handlebar is nice, but it's not sturdy or strong enough to brace heavier children. The mat is springy and a decent size for little feet, but the larger your kids are, the more likely they'd be to bounce off or tip the whole trampoline over. Other reviewers with older children have mentioned that it's quite a hazard and isn't sturdy or stable enough for larger kids.I like the bright colors and the material seems high quality, thick and durable. It was easy to assemble, but as another reviewer mentioned, some of the straps/posts may wear down with constant folding and unfolding, so it might be safer to use as something you set up and leave alone for the duration. The only problem with this is that kids need to be monitored on here at all times. It isn't something you can just let them use and go crazy on while you go vacuum the carpets or do a zoom session for work. There are no sides to keep kids from falling off, and it's high enough off the ground that injuries can happen with unsupervised use. My grandson, in particular, is so wild and clumsy and unaware of his surroundings, he'll need to be watched every moment on this. So, when not in use, it'll be in a different room with the door CLOSED. Overall, it's a nice little trampoline. It'll be great for extra exercise during the cold, dark months of winter. The price is decent for the quality, but the handle could stand to be a lot more stable (for larger kids especially), and for the price, some netting on the sides would not have been an unreasonable addition. Overall, a decent bouncer, though, and a great way for small kids to exercise indoors.
