I felt that this was a little over priced for a small piece of plastic but I needed it because I bought a used Canon flash that did not come with a flash base.This base would work for any flash that has the “hot shoe” style connector.I was surprised that the base has a brass insert in the bottom that allows you to mount you flash to a tripod.Overall a useful item.
