Lasted less than 3 days after purchase, Not worth it unless you need a one pump chump. Crumbled, and broke apart after 2 test runs and 1 smelting.

This crucible lasted over 2 years. I recently forgot it outside during a cold snap while there was aluminum left in it and it broke, but with proper care I'd say this had a few firings left in it. Mainly I've used it for melting soda cans in a charcoal furnace. Usually any slag left in the bottom pops out once its cooled. I had melted a glass bottle out of curiosity and it was fine though messy to clean. I am back to get a second one to continue melting down cans.

Amazingly good quality I am very surprised it's instead of graphite it's ceramic works great could not be any happier with it I've already used it twice once for copper and once for aluminum Works fantastic very happy it oh and it's black ceramic
