After 2 service calls to troubleshoot my floor furnace, I made an educated guess after watching the tech bypass the thermistor. Took the part number off the old one, matched it up and installed, furnace was fixed.

It works as expected in a 25kw electric furnace (only on one 5kw strip of it). I had to move the drilled holes in the furnace since this had a slightly different orientation (I could no longer find the one with correct orientation) on the mounting holes, but it worked perfectly after this change.

We used this on a Coleman Mach AC unit with heat strips in our Casita travel trailer to replace the manual reset switch. It works perfectly and was a relatively easy switch out (once we tore the whole unit apart to actually get to the switch!) We did use shrink tubing on the connections because of how close they were to the sides of the box; this was not in the instructions, but we felt it was a good idea.
