Although somewhat labor intense, did the job on my painted aluminum pool coping. Resulted in smooth and shiny finish , suitable for priming and painting. What I didnt expect is the usefulness of this product elsewhere, especially my exercise bench, universal gym etc. Couldnt previously get the sweat stains off the equipment. Wonder if the much less expensive generic products , specific for metals, work as well
