I took a leap of faith on this 3M paint protection film. It’s Too thin to protect against stone chips or scuffing. Looks more like Map tacking or covering school books.

Key to using this is having a soapy solution spray bottle handy. Lightly wet your area after cutting it to the working pattern, lay it on to position it, then squeegie the solution out. Bam, protect whatever. I use this on my boat, cars, etc.

It's exactly as described. Works well. I would like to have the options to buy a ticker version of it, because this version is a bit thin, but otherwise, it's the second time I buy this to protect a mountain bike and I would buy again. I had to put a double layer of it in some places, because I expect rocks to hit there, and a single layer would not protect enough.

Expected 3M quality. You can even stretch the material little bit, so sticking to irregular/curved surfaces was not a problem. My only complaint is the edges are very rough, so I had to trim 0.5 mm on both sides.
