This is good if you are working in an open environment. I find that when you have the visor in the up position it sits very high on your head. If there is low head clearance or you are very tall you will always hit them.

They scratch pretty easily. But like in other comments you get used to it, still see through it

They don't stay on well unless you tighten them but the flimsy material then presses into your eyes.

Horrible. I regret buying the hard hat and this visor is too expensive. When you put them on that piece on the lower part that sits on your nose distracts your sight seeing! They should make the bottom part of the visor square not like how it is.

The 3M X5-SV01 short visor is the clear version. It mounts to the 3M 5000-series "Secure Fit" hardhat with an adapter that you must purchase separately. The part number is P3EV/2. See my attached photo for the adapter, and how this visor mounts to it. The visor itself works great. It has two separate flipped-up positions as well as the down position. The top of the visor rests on the short brim of the hardhat, preventing any debris from falling down inside. It's a great product! My only dislike is that the bottom lip of the short visor sort of distorts your vision for anything below eye level, so you'll have to get used to bending your head down instead of just moving your eyes.
