Water and dust get underneath easily. Have to keep removing the protector to clean it. Very annoying!

In the past I used the one that just stuck over the clear face with a small black frame. Every once in a while I would catch the edge on something and it would pop it off. And the sticky stuff would collect dust and dirt. So I would have to use a new one. I thing 3 came in the package so it was not a big deal. But these you can pop off and on, since it snaps on and doesn't use an adhesive. The button is easy enough to press but it is more shielded. I hardly ever press the button since it will turn on in the day when you swing your arm up to read the watch. I have it set not to do that when I am sleeping.I don't swim with my watch so I don't know if that would trap water under it. But if it did you could pop it of and dry it and snap it back on.
