They have performed well for us and we like them. They are less expensive than other brands and seem to hold up well. We are really concerned about having spare parts for all of our equipment and have been trying to acquire as many parts as possible. These head gaskets would be critical in helping us to keep those engines running during a disaster, or catastrophe. We haven’t needed to replace a head gasket yet, but we do have a couple of engines that will eventually need an overhaul. These are single layer steel gaskets and look to be quite thick and sturdy. To be able to put these three head gaskets in our parts shop for $9 is really satisfying. Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

I’m am rebuilding harbor freight predator engines to put on mini bikes. It cost the same price to buy three head gaskets on Amazon, than to buy only one elsewhere. I put this on my engine, put the cylinder head back on, screwed in the head bolt in by hand, torqued to the specifications I saw online and now I am finished. Wasn’t hard to do . The factory gasket is .045 thickness and these are .010 gasket thickness so in theory, this should give you slight more compression and slightly more horsepower. I normally run 87 octane gasoline so by raising the horsepower slightly, I’ll use 88 or 89 octane gasoline. Whatever is available at the gas pump. Note: all 3 came wrapped together in plastic wrap with no instructions. If you need instructions about how to install these, go to YouTube and look it up.
