The seal never set and water wouldn’t stay in the tank. I thought it would just eventually seal, but after weeks of leaving the tank top open and turning the water on and off each time we used the toilet, I finally gave up. I ordered an original manufacturer’s seal (not this one) and first time after installing it the seal (not this one) worked so I know it’s not user error. If you want to save on frustration don’t buy this part.

These toilets have a history of bad flush seals and unless you swap to another type of flush mechanism, its inevitable that you're going to need to replace the seals. Finding these on Amazon was a saver of both time and money.

Very simple seal to install, but would not seal correctly. I tried rotating it, water in tank would eventually drain into the bowl (so refill goes on & off every ~20 minutes). Purchased a Mansfield branded seal later that did the job.

Works great but here’s the secret to getting it to work on if not your first attempt, definitely your second.Once you have the new gasket in place, cup it or reverse mushroom it. That is how you will get the black plunger to seal and create suction 👍👍
