I've gotta be honest here, I just don't know what these could even be used for. Apparently the merchant has no idea, either. They are certainly not "wok racks" as listed! And if they're meant to be trivets, their odd bumpy design, lack of height, and thin construction makes them rather useless in that capacity as well. Really, I've yet to use them for anything either on the stove or off, so I can't speak to fire hazard issues due to the black paint reported by another reviewer. But that is a pretty scary thing to hear! About the only positive thing I can say is, well, hey, you get 3 of them. Two are coated/painted? with a black finish, and one is a silver-colored metal. The silver one is thicker than the black ones. The black ones are so thin you can bend them with your bare hands. So, not exactly heavy-duty, to my way of thinking. The listing says they're "iron material (and "fine craftsmanship"!) sturdy and durable for". Yes that's the end of the sentence. Incomprehensible listing details, good for a few laughs but certainly not for determining what these things are actually good for. And not one single photo of the item IN ACTUAL USE!! Pictures of stovetops with pots and pans on the stove. And somebody holding this item in their hand, in front of the stove haha!! The packaging label has a picture of what looks to be a miniature coffee pot sitting on one of these things. But is it on a table? Is it on an invisible gas stove? It looks like it's floating in yellow-colored outer space. Dollar-store junk. Feel like throwing away $11.49? Then these are right up your alley! 😆

It's almost a flat as the cooktop itself. No wok is going to be able to sit on this and not just fall over.
