How to use it properly:
3.1. Semi-automatic whisk: mixing head pressed against the bottom of the bowl, press vertically, high-speed rotation, rebound and then press down, repeat the operation.
3.2. Manual whisk: Hand-held mixer, stir clockwise, so that the egg mixture is uniform.
3.3. Yolk separator:
Place the ends of the yolk separator flat on the edge of the container, open the egg shell and pour the egg mixture into the trough, then pick up the separator with your hand and shake it horizontally a few times to allow the whites to leak through the gaps and the yolks to separate completely.
Special Reminder:
You have to shake it horizontally to separate it quickly, the egg mixture is sticky and slow to separate when it is simply sitting!

I really just needed a traditional whisk, and this one works exactly as expected—sturdy, easy to clean, and does the job well. Haven’t tried the semi-auto whisk or yolk separator yet, but at this price, getting the extra pieces feels like a bonus. If you’re looking for a simple, affordable set that covers all the bases, this is a great pick.

I thought a small "automatic" egg whisk would be a good thing and might prevent having to get out a mixer every time I wanted to mix a small quantity of liquid items. I have a bad shoulder, and while I can whisk with the best of them, it is problematic. I saw this set of two whisks and the egg separator at a great price, and ordered. I have never used an egg separator, thinking them to be totally unnecessary, but have used this one a few times and may change my mind. The whisk is a whisk, well made and a good size for me. The rotary whisk is what I was really interested in, and it does work fairly well. The handle shaft extends though the end of the whisk and rests on the bottom of the bowl, allowing the rotary whisk to spin. And you can really get it going! I find that a narrow bowl that concentrates the liquid in "one" place works better than a big bowl with a big bottom, because the whisk works faster if you don't have to move it around. It is definitely not as good as a regular balloon whisk, but then again, doesn't take the effort (which I appreciate!). It is easy to use and easy to clean, and the handle is comfortable to hold and keeps the rotary whisk stable. Overall, I am pleased, and would recommend it. It would make a fun gift for any occasion.

Had to return. The beater center rod was loose while using, to much play in it. Like the concept but this just wasn’t sturdy enough.
