Install was easy and I really like the multiple mounting options. However…the metal is really thin and was more so engineered for a small person, and not at all for a red blooded American. I’m 240lbs, and I don’t think the handle or steps are going to last very long at all. I should have pulled the trigger on the steel, made in America steps. Win some…lose some.

I had to modify the steps, they needed more left to right support. After modifing they are perfect

If you have been climbing in the front of your boat, this ladder is a must have. It seems very sturdy and well made. There seems to be a little play with the handle/step, but not enough to feel like it's going to break or you're going to fall.I bought this because it had four steps, but I was not able to use the bottom step because it didn't fit. If they provided a longer U-bolt, I could have put the steps in a different spot and made it work, but this seems like a viable option rather than making a trip to the hardware store. A longer U-bolt option seems like a simple fix from the manufacturer though.

Seems to be made well enough but this isn’t tall enough to safely get you aboard a deep v hull. Save yourself the headache of having to return this unless you have a bay boat or similar freeboard.

The first step isn't as solid as I'd like. I weigh 205, and need to step right by where it meets the arm to prevent it from slightly flexing. Also, some of the holes didn't line up when mounting the other 3 steps. This won't work if you have anything protruding below your trailer tongue. I have a bracket that sticks down about a quarter in that kept the ladder from mounting where I needed it.

I mounted this to the trailer of my 18' Sea Ray boat. It greatly simplifies getting into and out of the boat, and is a much safer way for me and the kids to climb in and out. I am quite pleased with this!
