very lightweight compared to wood option at Lowes, but priced accordingly. Hopefully the paint will cover any flaws and given that it will be up high, you wont be able to feel that it is flimsy

Easier to install than wood. Very easy to sand an edge to get a perfect tight fit without a lot of effort, You can't tell it from wood after it's in place. Takes nail gun and caulking as nice as wood. One big benefit of this is-----1 person can install this because of the weight. You can hold it in place easy. This was also delivered ahead of time in a nice box with no damage and the stated measurements were right on and it needed to be or this would not have worked in my application. So very happy
