These are springs on metal rods. There is absolutely no dampening resistance or shock absorption whatsoever. If you remove the spring the metal rod moves freely. They do serve a purpose for a price but the quality just isn't there.

Used these to replace stock shocks on power sports max 125 atv. Original bent quickly on both quads. Replacement also bent. Saw these. So far have held up with rough riding. Definitely better than others I triedUpdate 6/2023: Still holding up excellent upgrade on x-pro atv.
