I was looking at Amazon Vine items and found this neat balancing game so I ordered it for my Grandchild. When the item arrived I opened it up to see a variety of eggs, round long sticks in a large egg, what looks like tongue depressors in different sizes and some cards with different stacking configurations, and under the pull up wood eggs I found dinosaur shapes made of wood. I checked all the pieces for safety reasons and everything looks great. Personally I am not sure how kids can do this stacking game because I certainly could not complete a task!If you are looking for something to do with your child then I highly recommend you pick this up.

This series of dinosaur related toys and interactive activities for kids is absolutely perfect. It definitely gives them a lot to engage with and it's all really well-made and good quality materials were put into making this. These will definitely last long after your child has outgrown them. Easily a great hand me down and hand me downs, and hand me down type of item that you're going to find you can be passing down of the years.

This Montessori dinosaur toy set is fantastic! The quality is great, and the pieces are sturdy and well-made, perfect for little hands. The vibrant colours and adorable dinosaur shapes immediately catch the kids’ attention. It’s not only fun but also educational, helping with fine motor skills, colour recognition, and balance. The stacking and sorting aspects are great for keeping kids engaged while also promoting problem-solving skills. I highly recommend this set as a gift or an addition to any toddler’s playroom. It’s definitely worth it for the educational value and entertainment it provides!

What a wonderful little set for a wide range of ages! Durably-made and vibrantly colored, there seems to be a little something for everyone. My four year old (and I) really enjoy the stacking dinosaurs though it is a little bit harder than I had expected. Gotta love a little challenge though! And my two year old really enjoys playing with the little puzzle pieces.I appreciate that the set works on different sides of the brain and each toy teaches a variety of skills. I try to rotate toys around quite a bit to keep them interesting but I can imagine this one staying out for quite a few more rotations. Highly recommend!

This is exactly like the picture. It is cute and colorful and really good quality. Overall I think it's a really great set. The only negative I have is the big egg with the sticks feels like unfinished porcelain. That gritty chalk texture. Maybe it's me but I can't stand that texture. It makes my skin crawl. Even though the egg has some weight to it and feels solid I don't trust that it won't shatter if it's dropped on a hard surface. Even with my doubts about the egg, I still recommend all the other items. I had some different variations of these toys over the years but this definitely the best set I have seen that covers wide range of learning strategies. There is different ways to stack, sort, match, use gross motor skills. It is just versatile and I think it's a set that you can adjust your play to make it last through a few age groups.

This toy has not only cute, but has great educational value! It will provide enrichment for years to come. Our biggest issue was that the big egg has some sort of chalky feel and makes a horrible scraping sound when twisting it open or shut. The wood of the big egg is so sanded that it seems ceramic. Also, the colors around the holes could be bigger and/or bolder to make it more obvious that you're supposed to match the colors. However, my daughter does love developing her fine motor skills by putting the sticks in the holes.

This is a great and versatile toy! There are so many ways to play with this kit other than the many ways they suggest. The simple teaching of colors, counting, matching, and more, as well as the more challenging physics of balancing, will keep my kids busy for years. The quality of the pieces is good as well. The only two elements that could be better are the large Dino egg, which is difficult to open and close (for adults as well at times, depending on how it was closed). The carton box that the toys come in isn’t great quality, so I may have to find another way to store the items. I like when storage is considered. We seem to lose the sticks often as well…and they become a safety hazard for the younger baby when they end up somewhere (I don’t easily see/know). It’s a GREAT deal for $42 with 40% off!!

This is another great children’s toy from Montessori, which has a longish history of providing quality products for the younger members of society. To maintain interest, it arrives with a few “games” in one. I could definitely see a young one, 12 + months up enjoying what this Montessori dinosaur family toy set has to offer. The pieces are large enough, that parents don’t have to worry about a choking hazard. The dinosaur egg, is a little heavy and may hurt if it lands on your foot, so just be a little mindful of that. There are also different examples you could follow on where, and how to stack your dinosaurs. This is the perfect toy for those just learning coordination and motor skills. This toy set also allows you to work as a family, you can build together and stock the right eggs in the hole. It has everything you need to keep your child occupied for quite some time and I would class it as a 'returning toy'. (One that your child will want to return to.) You can’t go wrong with a toy that teaches your child so much, and is fun for them as well. The colors are vibrant, the dinosaurs are fun and easy to identify, and it has everything needed for a great afternoon. The price, at the current time is reasonable for this product, as a promotional discount of 40% reduces the pricing to $25.80.

I’ve been using these toys to work on play skills, problem-solving, and fine motor skills with my early intervention kiddos. The toy itself is great quality, the colors are vibrant, and each toy is helpful to illicit different skills like grasp patterns, object permanence, and purposeful play skills. The kids love that there is a little dinosaur hidden behind each puzzle piece and it makes for a fun surprise when playing! Highly recommend to add to your toolbox. A great way to engage the little ones in therapeutic play and durable enough to stand up to years of wear and tear.

There is a lot packed into this box! Stacking, balancing, shape matching, hand-eye coordination, all with bright colors and high quality materials. I tried everything out just to make sure it was safe before I gave it to a 1 year old. The handles on the dino egg shapes seem well attached after I tugged on all of them repeatedly, the stacking planks seem smooth enough to prevent splinters, and the paint seems good with no flaking when I scratch with my fingernails. All the pieces are solid and well made. My one and only concern would be with the straw-like cylinders that insert into the big dino egg, as they are maybe just a smidge too short for a toddler who still puts things in their mouth. It’s a very easy solution: just set them aside until the toddler is old enough, or supervise closely while they are being used. There’s tons of other stuff to play with in the set.I am really thrilled with this toy - one of the best we’ve picked up recently!

Okay, this toy is LOVELY. Well-made, cute, tons of different options for play that can grow with the child as they learn more complicated things like stacking, patterns etc. This toy has allowed us to get rid of several other toys from our playroom which I personally LOVE.My 9 month old loves to play with all the pieces, especially sliding the flat eggs in the plate but all of the pieces interest him.My 2 year old is able to play with the toy in all the ways it was meant to be played with including following the pictures for stacking the eggs and dinosaurs on the wooded planks EXCEPT the rocking dino stacker. It takes a bit more skill and patience than he has but he still tries it frequently and I am sure he is going to feel quite chuffed when he figures it out.The egg that is in the package for the colored sticks is surprisingly GREAT quality, heavy, some sort of resin composite I think. I was a little worried it was going to break easily but it's survived a couple throws from my toddler already.I am really pleased with this toy set overall.

I’ll admit it, I originally got this for our toddler, but my wife and I have definitely ended up on the floor more than once trying to out-stack each other like it’s some kind of prehistoric Jenga championship. The pieces are solid wood, colorful, and painted nicely - no weird smells or sharp edges, which is always a win when you’ve got a toddler who thinks everything needs to be taste-tested. They’re small enough to fit in little hands, but not so small you’re constantly worried about choking. Although, fair warning — they will vanish under furniture with alarming frequency. Our toddler (not quite 2) mostly lines them up or makes dinosaur growl noises while knocking them all down. Stacking is still a work in progress, but honestly, he’s having a blast. Meanwhile, my wife and I are lowkey turning it into a competition. Whoever gets the highest stack without a collapse gets bragging rights until the next nap window. No screens, no batteries, no obnoxious noises - just creative, tactile fun that scales with age and gives the grown-ups an excuse to play too.Final take: 5 stars. It’s fun, it’s quiet, and it brings out your inner dino architect. Would absolutely recommend to any parent looking for something simple but sneaky-good.
