This hinge adjuster must be made for industrial doors, tried this on a few of my doors and it either wouldn’t fit on the actual hinge, trim was in the way so extra tools (pry bar and wedge) were needed to get hinge away from door frame, or it would just pull the screws out of the door which didn’t solve problem. This tool worked on one exterior door to move it ever so slightly that the door wasn’t touching the frame afterwards. This tool will crack wood and pull the frame away from wall with the amount of force needed to adjust hinges. I have a picture of door before and after you can see it adjusted it enough to not get stuck. The kit comes with 4 heads and the size you think you need is too small so you have to go with the one size up and do it gently or it will expand and slip off the hinge. I watched a few videos for similar kits on correct way to use the tool with adjustments, which helps. Most of my hinges have trim built out to be level with the hinges which make it harder to use without damaging or pulling out the screws in door. The hinges that didn’t have trim next to it seemed to be the only ones that had enough wiggle to actually adjust the doors. Needed a hammer to get the tool on most of the hinges with patience.

Let me just say this tool has fabulous build quality. All the wrench ends are made of strong steel, and I don't believe would flex when used properly. Every item in this kit was made of strong steel and had a fantastic finish. The paint adhered well and was smooth with no defects or chips. The wrench ends fit a variety of hinges - from small door hinges in a residence, to large industrial door hinges. You should be able to easily apply enough force with this tool to adjust any hinge. One last note, I actually ordered this to use on a hinge on my exterior condo entry door, and it adjusted that hinge without a problem - just gently applied pressure and the hinge moved effortlessly. The largest wrench included does fit a commercial steel door hinge that I have on my storm shelter. I'd say it is what you'd expect size wise on an exit door to a commercial establishment.I can't see this tool ever failing - it's a lifetime purchase even if you use it commercially.
