I got this to repair a Christmas inflatable that I thought was not inflating properly due to some holes it had. Sadly, that was not the case. I repaired the holes and it still didn’t inflate, but it wasn’t due to the repair kit. Love the scissors that come with this. I was able to cut just the size piece I needed and the scraper allow me to secure it well to the inflatable. It had good adhesion. Can’t say it isn’t noticeable, but at night sitting up in my yard, you wouldn’t have been able to see it. Even though my inflatable didn’t inflate all the way after sealing the holes, I could still tell there was no air coming out of the holes I patched with this so this worked even though it didn’t fix the inflatable.

This repair kit includes the clear repair tape, a small set of foldable scissors, and a flat plastic scraper for getting out any air bubbles in the tape.To use, clean the area you want to repair (I use rubbing alcohol), ensure it is dry, then apply the tape. Once applied, use the scraper to push out any air bubbles in the tape and ensure that the tape is fully attached to the area. Allow the tape to cure overnight, then you can put air or water into whatever you repaired depending on the application. So far I used this to repair a small water bladder as an emergency repair (I assume this is not food safe so I would not use this as a long term solution but it will help in a pinch). I also used it to repair a patio seat cover that had a hole torn in it from falling snow and ice. Both repairs are holding up quite well so far and I plan to use it for a small hole in my fishing waders as well. I will also keep a section of it in my fishing bag for any emergency field repairs in the future.

Needed to use this several times this year on inflatables that got tears or the tie down loops got ripped off of in the wind. So much better than duct tape for these fixes. Really sturdy and sticks and easy to use. I highly recommend it as someone who owns more than 100 inflatables for the various seasons. I can also think of plenty of other uses, like fixing a rip in a car seat, tent, tarp, greenhouse or piece of furniture. The repair won't be invisible but it will hold.

Tested on plastic, it is no more adhesive than packaging tape. Glue layer thinner than packaging tape. Can be safely removed immediately after application.Maybe there is some curing person to make it more permanent, but it has not been tested.Comes with folding scissors and a scraper. One star less, as expect to have a firmer grip and thicker glue as float plastic surfaces often are not glossy but have some texture.

I obtained this patch kit to fix a leak in my pool float. The hole was in a recessed part of a seam. My first attempt to repair failed, so I easily removed the patch, and recleaned it with 91% alcohol. On my second attempt I was extra cautious to pressure seal with my finger and supplied tool. The second attempt sealed perfectly. This product even comes with folding scissors that don't work very, and a scrapper to work out the bubbles. This is a must have product when you're on a camping or boating trip where unexpected leaks happen. Highly recommended after my first use. Don't leave home without it.

We've had a 12' inflatable Santa for around 5 years now. Last year, the wind blew his hat into a tree, got snagged, and ripped a pretty large hole into him. We forgot all about it until this year when we went to blow him up and he couldn't stand more than halfway up due to the golf ball sized hole. Rather than throw him away, I came to Amazon to see if I could find a patching kit of some type to fix him home. Candidly, I didn't have high hopes but ordered this product nonetheless. The product comes simply boxed with a (terrible) pair of scissors, a smoothing thing, and the roll of patch tape. After trying unsuccessfully for a minute or so to get a clean cut with the included scissors, I threw them away and grabbed my kitchen shears. Two seconds later, I had a patch that was roughly "four times bigger than the hole being patched" as the instructions called for. I took the patch outside, located the hole, took some pictures for this review, and slapped the patch on. In all, it took me longer to find the hole than it did to apply the patch. I didn't give it any curing time and went full trial-by-fire and plugged it in.Much to my surprise, it held and Santa inflated fully! It's now been 30 hours or so and we've had a pretty intense wind and a minor snow storm. The patch is holding great and Santa is standing tall and proud. Merry Christmas to my neighborhood! This product is highly recommended for people needing to patch something inflatable. It works, is easy, and seems to hold well. The scissors are pretty meh but I didn't buy this for them. The patch was the star of the show and did not disappoint.
