These adapter are pretty well made. They are solid and have 2 sets of stainless steel clamps.The adapters measure as expected to make it much easier to install without having to wrestle with them.Very happy with them as I can now have a permanent attachment on my drum sander.

These are made out of a hard plastic, and naturally, are the sizes they claim to be. I needed these to reduce the intake ports on a large but mobile dust collector in my workshop so that I could connect these to stationary tools with a 2.5" connection. The 4" hose ran through the workshop, then you clamp one side to that hose, and the other side can then use the 2.5" hose to the tool. Simple. I do wish the clamps had thumb screws though, it would make it much more convenient for removal and reconnection, but there are others out there if you're like me and want to chase them down.
