Serve its function, but I tested UV blocking capabilities and confirmed it’s only 15-20% UV resistant. I tested in direct sunlight with a UV sensor that gives a numerical value and it’s only reduced 15.78% when placing the sensor inside the sleeve. I was hoping for more and since the supplier doesn’t list HOW resistant the sleeve is they technically are correct that it’s UV resistant. I just wish it was at least 50% or more. If the supplier would be willing to share their own results and post to the description that would be great!

These are great - I used to use the square deal 4mm polyethylene sleeves, but the last few batches have been cut short or had the dimensions for width and length reversed. As a result, 1/8”-1/16” of the record jacket sticks out above the end of the sleeve. Which makes them kind of useless for the purpose of protecting the album - I picked up a pack of these (which to be fair cost about double, or more per sleeve as opposed to the square deal 100 packs) and the dimensions have been spot on. Since then I have bought probably 6 packs of the 50’s. I wish they came in 100 / 500 packs, and that the price wasn’t over double of other sleeves that have comparable thickness. But you get what you pay for I guess. At least the size and thickness is always spot on, and have yet to encounter one that splits on the seem!

These sleeves are 1 mil thicker than the standard 3 mil sleeves and the polyethylene material is much better in my opinion than polypropylene, which in my (recent) experience tears easily at the seams.These polyethylene sleeves remind me of the ones I purchased back in the 70's and 80's.

These are very nice quality and fit my 2LP gatefold albums (although some of them more snug than others). They aren’t too thick or too thin. I also am glad to report they are NOT PVC. I just bought another package of them to replace old ones in my collection! Definitely worth it!

Tried a few other brands of sleeves so far and they’ve either been too tight or too thick. At 4mm I wasn’t sure if these would also be too thick but it looks like these have hit the sweet spot of fitting just right for all my LPs so far! …and they’re UV-resistant? I didn’t even know my records needed that but more protection for the artwork sounds good to me.

These are amazing. They fit my large records and are very good quality as well as durable. For the amount of sleeves I received the price was worth it. I will be ordering more as we collect records.
