Installation
First, remove the element and the old drip pan
Second, install the new drip pan
Third, install the element. Finished. Easy to install and operate.

I haven't installed these yet but I notice in the title is says for gas stoves, now I worry that they won't apply to my electric range.

I installed these, and in the FIRST Use it faded and looks horrible JUST ONE USEone picture shows the bowl as installed -- the other shows how the finish fades into an ugly copper-stained color after ONE USEnow if you are just looking for a first impression fitment was perfect -- quality is NOT

Lowe’s no longer carries these, so I was very glad to get them from Amazon! Perfect fit and cheap!

The product is made of very thin metal and arrived damaged through shipment. Would not sit "flat" on the stove. Had the product been made with the same quality of the units we were trying to replace; it is likely they would have survived the shipping (which was unboxed - only bubble wrapped) just fine. I am guessing these units are intended for rental replacements (to get damage deposits back) but are wholly unsatisfactory for home owners trying to return their stove tops to a clean/sleek look. Additionally, due to their material thinness - not entire sure I would feel comfortable that they are as safe/robust as they should be.

They fit the application and so far, so good. The pans clean up pretty well. The question is how long will they last? I am tired of the pans rusting out in under a year due to they are impossible to get clean and the residue holds moisture causing rust. We will see.

If they hadn't been advertised as stainless steel, I could have given 5 stars. They're great when new, and they fit well. But I put a magnet to them, and it stuck as hard as it did to the refrigerator. NOT stainless. They're the same as previous ones, which last a year or two before rusting and then getting holes in them. I'll try to find some enamel ones if people don't know what stainless is supposed to look like.
