I bought six dozen to replace the standard exit signs (with these combo exit signs & emergency lights). These work as designed and give off a good amount of light when needed. Keep in mind the lights are used more for guidance/point of reference. They are not meant to replace a six cell flashlight. The light they give is a little better that the light from a cell phone.

What a difference from the old ones with the lead acid batteries and incandescent lights. This one is smaller, lighter, and brighter.I will be putting these up in a large shop for which code did not require exit lights. It will be a while before I have time to run wiring for them so I hooked it up temporarily to try it. I can se enothing to complain about.I should also mention that my set of two lights came with two additional face plates. I do not think I will need them but it won't hurt to have them around.If you decid ento to read the directions for some reason you will need to plug in a set of wires on the lower left side of the light. Otherwise they will not function properly after you install them.Five Stars.

Overview:As described.Experience:No surprises here, is exactly as listed, easy install, light weight, Multiple mount options. Back up is so much more efficient than old school lead acid battery types. Very pleased.
