I usually sharpen my lawn mower blade using a table grinder which required me to remove the blade first. I thought I would try these drill attachment sharpening stones to see how they would work. Results, it takes much longer to sharpen using these. They don't remove much of the metal and I wasn't happy with the results. One of the units failed as the stone became disconnected from the shaft rendering it useless. Anyway, I will go back to using the grinder and won't buy these again. If you don't have a table grinder, then these are serviceable but not great at sharpening your blade.
