Tight fit but works great. Had to use a little bit of grease to get it to slide in

We have Glacier Bay toilets. These were a tight fit into the base holes. The supplied washers were too big for the seat hinge recesses holes, however, the original washers worked fine. Snugs it down well. Hope it stays this securely in the future.

I have a toilet that does not allow access to the bottoms of the bolts that hold on the seat without removing the whole toilet from the floor. (It is a skirted Toto and the plumber put it too close to the wall.) So the usual plastic bolts and nuts won’t work. These bolts allow you to attach the seat entirely from the top. They work like a plaster anchor and expand as you turn the screw. They fit perfectly and appear to be of excellent quality.

… but could not figure how to use these to fix my broken toilet seat. No directions included.

I loved how easy it was to install. And work… we have had trouble keeping the toilet seat bolts tight on the particular toilet since we’re got it. I ordered these, get this … 2 days ago… they were here today. Got them installed, that seat ain’t going anywhere!!!

These worked for one of the toilets in our home. I was just barely able the wedge the base through the existing holes and then could tighten them down. Unfortunately these did not fit the other toilet in the house even though it was the same brand and purchased the same day at Home Depot. (Manufacturing variance?) I tried using a Dremel to open up the holes, but it was a pointless exercise. With Amazon’s easy return policy, these are worth a shot because if they fit, you’ll never have to replace them and they’ll likely never work themselves loose.

These went in super easy on the first try. I separated the bolt from the rubber piece, put the rubber piece in the hole with a little push from the top and pulled from the bottom with pliers. Then placed the washer and screwed the bolt down. They’ve been in for a couple of weeks now. It’s so nice to finally not have a shifty toilet seat that I have to keep tightening. I haven’t have to tighten them at all since installed.
