Plastic. Returned because they wouldn’t stretch a rubber band if you tried. Waste of money and purchased a steel insert instead.

Very flimsy, cheap, and don’t even fill out boot calf when fully extended. The metal inside is so thin that the leather boots just push them back. I don’t even want to give it a star. But, the system requires you to fill in the field.

I had high hopes for these based on the reviews. These boot forms do not stretch wide enough to hold the boots if you pick them up. They slide right out and they are cheaply made. I returned them and purchased some more expensive and much better quality boot forms.

These are great but I wish the expanded more so you can actually lift them by the top handles And they would fit snuggly.
