These seem small out of the package and I was skeptical, yet they stretch easily to cover an adult arm up to/over the bicep. These have the thumb hole to keep them from riding up your arm and I got them for that purpose: to also protect my wrist from sun when riding. The downside to this is that my watch no longer stays unlocked (that’s my problem not the sleeves).I can’t say I noticed the cooling effect; I think the evaporation of sweat is offset by the sun warming up a black sleeve. I also can’t vouch for the 50 SPF but I’m not sure about that; The weave is not as fine as much more expensive products and I could see a little skin color peeking through where they had been stretched the most. Regardless they will offer a lot of sun protection. These are a good product and a great price, and I’m satisfied.

These are very easy to wear and are quite comfortable as well. This is a great four pack that works great our needs. Super well made and very protective. Should come in handy for quite some time.
