What am I reviewing?I am reviewing MoFund’s single Livestock Scratch Brush with included mounting hardware. What did I receive?I received a somewhat sturdy, non-retail like rectangular plain brown cardboard presentation package measuring “about” 17½” x 7½” x 4½”.What’s inside the package?Inside was the scratch brush and some mounting hardware – two (2) skinny bolts with their nuts and two (2) skinny screws with plastic anchors.Describe the brush. It’s a handsome, heavy duty, and durable brush, with bristle sections, which are 1/3rd the length of the brush and alternate colors of gold, then blue, then gold again bristles.Length of the brush? The brus is about (17”) long.Diameter? The brush is one-half of a circumference. The outer circumference is 3.125”. The inner circumference is about 1/16th of an inch under (2”).Weight of the brush? The weight of the brush is near two (2) pounds and ten (10) ounces. The base the bristles are inserted within. The plastic base, which the bristles are inserted into, is a whopping (½”) and contributes considerable weight.Bristles.The bristles are relatively stiff and measure 2.125” in lengthHow many rows of bristles? The rows contain about (26) plugs of bristles of which the plug order is as follows, (8) plugs of gold, followed by (10) plugs of blue, and then another (8) plugs of gold. Since they are staggard, some rows only have (25) plugs of bristles and are as follows (7) – (11) – (7).Columns of bristles.I count (15) columns of bristles.Plugs.Each plug of bristles is just under ( ¼”) of an inch thick. How many bristles in a plug?About (30).Mounting.There are only two (2) bolt/screw holes in the plastic base of the brush, which are about 8.25mm in diameter. [I think it possible to enlarge them, although I did not.]Performance?Strong, durable, capable.Instructions provided?NoneInstructions needed?NoneInstallation?Intuitive, just need the correct base to mount this on.Country of origin?Made in China, so noted the listing, otherwise, the packaging and the actual brush made no mention.Thoughts?I was pleased. The size, in person, is tad smaller than expected and the weight heavier than I thought it was going to be, which belies positive thoughts, such as this is very sturdy and durable. Getting this on a post is possible, as is a fence, such as a wire fence, but a bit of additional wood and some plain old farmer ingenuity is needed. An assortment of skinny light to medium duty bolts/screws were provided. This is solid, there are not flex points for wrapping partially around. Not a single bristle fell out, after vigorous testing. I think this provides excellent value, allowing the intended critter to enjoy some relief from a good scratching. It works; and I think it works well. I have no negative thoughts with this. Good value with that 40% off retail coupon.I hope my thoughts added a wee bit of information.

when i watched a video about a farmer who installed it and how much his cows loved it, I decided to copy that and for sure cows do love it. I would highly recommend it..
