The shifter for the auto transmission in my 1999 Toyota Hilux Surf (JDM 4Runner), was almost as loose as a manual shift, with lots of side-2-side play.Received these replacement bushings in the mail today about noon time, and by 5:00 PM, was done pulling out the shifter assy. , installing the new bushings w/ a little Vaseline for lube, and reinstalling the shifter.Night and Day difference, all side wobble gone and forward / backward motion of the shifter is nice and tight. Well worth the dollars and time spent to install.If you are considering these bushings which appear to be made of nylon, just do it. You will be happy with the results.
