At first I was alittle worried because the foam wasn’t expanding once unwrapped, but someone else on here recommended soaking them in water and it worked instantly. Just had to let them dry out for a day or so. The foam is squishy but seems to hold up well in my pelican case.

Put these in the dryer on medium for 30 minutes. It really helps them decompress from being vacuum sealed, fast and easy. Unfortunately the pluck grid lines aren't perfectly straight, but a decent product for the low price.

I was nervous at first when I first pulled the foam out of the package… I used a hairdryer to expand the shrunken foam and it worked perfectly!

So, like many who bought this, the product comes firmly vacuumed sealed and barely rose after 4 days. I would never consider to put these in a dryer, as that would ruin the integrity of the glue and possibly the foam itself. All you have to do, and this seems dumb, but add water. Think of it like a dehydrated sponge. I lightly soaked the pieces under a sink, squeeze dried them and they instantly expanded. Left them to air dry for about 4 days. Better than perfect.

When I first received this product I was less than enthused. The foam, which was vacuumed sealed was half the thickness advertised but I let it sit out for a few days and it got better. I was able to make a carrying case that fit my needs.

The product does not match the advertised description. The "2-inch" foam is only about 5/8 inch thick, and the "0.4-inch" foam is only 1/8 inch thick. Additionally, the edges are curled and uneven, making them unusable. This was very disappointing and misleading.
