I'm not sure what the other guy was talking about. These fit my 718 GT4 perfectly. With a quarter turn twist, they stay in securely. Btw, the 718 has the same jack points as the 911. These also seem fairly firm.

Well, I thought it was odd there was only 2 reviews when I bought these and they were both 5 stars. I've purchased a similar jack pad for my car and they work well. Very simply, push the protruding nub up into the jack point hole and give them a twist. They then stay in place as you raise a jack or lift to meet them. They are a darker grey and hard to see when placed into the Porsche jack point holes. Translated this means I've accidentally left this installed in the jack point holes and driven away. Even though I'm guilty of this miss the other design/company jack pads stayed in the holes and were still there after driving! I thought I would buy these bright jack pads to help remember to remove them. Unfortunately, when you push that little oval nub up into the Porsche jack point hole and give it a twist to stay they just drop out. From what I can see, that protruding nub is shorter than my grey jack pads and the bright red material is a lot softer. As a result, they don't stay in the car and keep falling out. I was raising the car lift with its 4 arms while running around the car to pick up the jack pads until they were trapped by the car lift arm pads. The design needs an overhaul before they'll work for the Porsche cars...Update- just added pictures to show the difference in the height of the feature that engages the car. The gray jack pad is also a bit harder and that helps keep it from falling out.

This is something that every Porsche, BMW, and other high end vehicles owners should keep in their vehicle so when they have them serviced they are properly jacked up. These fit in the special holes at the jacking points under the car and prevent the pinch welds and other parts under the car from being damaged when lifted up.
