The handle is pretty much useless as such as the disk thickness is wider than the slot if the handle it is designed, (supposedly), to fit into. It does generate nice air flow as a manual fan.

I’m so sorry to have to say this, because it is adorable and convenient, but it springs open with great force. It’s not just a popping sound. Don’t have it near your face or any other part of your body. After the first opening, I thought it was just me, but carefully tested it again with the same result. For sure, do NOT give it to a child or elderly person to use. The manufacturer needs to decrease the strength with which it opens. Of course, I returned it.

This fan does cool me down when I get those occasional hot flashes. I keep one in my purse and by my bed. They fold down so they don’t take up much room. And the design is so cute too.

These throw so much more air than the folding fans; both fabric and paper. They fold up small. I keep one, but bought more for my granddaughters who always want mine.

The good news: it’s very effective at cooling. You will be surprised. Speaking of surprised, be careful when you first open it because it can make a very loud snap and POP. And if you’re not expecting it it’s pretty shocking. If you are sending this to an elderly relative, I would definitely warn them. That’s why I’m writing this review. Open it slowly the first time. Other than the loud pop, I think it’s quite good and I will use them and plan to get some to give away… But I will be warning people about the POP!!

The handle is supposed to go into a slot to hold it while using the handle. It doesn’t! The slot is too small and it won’t fit! A handle would make this fan easier to use

These work so well. They are the perfect size and fold up neatly.The colors are vivid and bright. The little cover case is a very nice bonus. These are so easy to use and so lightweight and keep me cool in the oppressive heat. They appear to be very durable and hope the last a long time!
