Ordered these shelves to hold bottles, cans, etc. that do not work with a slatwall hook. Here's my thoughts:1. The package contained 4 shelves that were perhaps a bit lighter than I expected. In part their lightness is because of their "mesh" bottom but also because of the material used.2. Three of the shelves hung in approximately the same position; the third dipped more than a half inch below the others.3. All had trouble holding approx. 5 lbs of weight as they all dropped down in front. Anything that wasn't stable to begin with slid off the shelf.4. I did not try to use the included hooks on the front of the shelves. Hanging anything on them would have only added to the instability of the shelf.In sum, I would rate the shelves as "adequate" (3-stars) for light usage. However, it is likely that most usage of shelves this size would include objects that collectively weigh over 5 lbs and I would not recommend them for that.
